Setting the date and time on Panasonic KX-TD612 telephone systems

Many telephone systems show the date and time on the display of system phones. This article explains how to set the date and time on Panasonic KX-TD612 telephone systems.
Setting the date and time on a Panasonic KX-TD612 telephone system requires a passcode. The default user passcode is 1234. If you are not sure, ask your Panasonic dealer.
A Panasonic KX-T7433 or KX-T7436 proprietary display telephone is required to set the date and time. These phones are supplied with an overlay for the buttons for program mode. In the instructions below, the buttons are shown as per the designations on the overlay. In case you do not have the overlay, the normal designations are shown in brackets, where different.
- Do not lift the handset.
- Press Program.
- Press **.
- Enter the user passcode (default 1234).
- Press 000.
- Press Next (Sp Phone).
- Enter the day of the month as a 2-digit number (01 - 31).
- Press → (Fwd/DND).
- Keep pressing Select (Auto Answer) until the correct month is shown.
- Press → (Fwd/DND).
- Enter the last 2 digits of the year (00 - 99).
- Press → (Fwd/DND).
- Keep pressing Select (Auto Answer) until the correct day of the week is shown.
- Press Store.
- Press Next (Sp Phone).
- Enter the hour in 24-hour format as a 2-digit number (00 - 23).
- Press → (Fwd/DND).
- Enter the minute as a 2-digit number (00 - 59).
- Press Store.
- Press End (Hold).
- Press Program to exit.
