Setting the date and time on Panasonic KX-TDA, KX-TDE, KX-NCP & KX-NS telephone systems

Many telephone systems show the date and time on the display of system phones. This article explains how to set the date and time on Panasonic KX-TDA15, KX-TDA30, KX-TDA100, KX-TDA200, KX-TDA600, KX-TDE100, KX-TDE200, KX-TDE600, KX-NCP500, KX-NCP1000, KX-NS700 & KX-NS1000 telephone systems.

Setting the date and time on these telephone systems must be done at an extension with system manager privileges and requires a passcode. The default manager passcode is 1234. If you are not sure, ask your Panasonic dealer.

A Panasonic proprietary display telephone with a display with 3 or more lines is required to set the date and time. Suitable phones include KX-DT333, KX-DT343, KX-DT346, KX-T7630, KX-T7633, KX-T7636, KX-DT543, KX-DT546, KX-NT343, KX-NT346, KX-NT366, KX-NT543, KX-NT553, KX-NT546, KX-NT556 and KX-NT560.

The time on these systems should change automatically for daylight saving time (DST). If it does not, contact us as we might be able to help.

  1. Do not lift the handset.
  2. Press Program.
  3. Press **.
  4. Enter the manager passcode (default 1234).
  5. Press 000.
  6. Press Enter.
  7. Enter the last 2 digits of the year (00 - 99).
  8. Keep pressing Select until the correct month is shown.
  9. Press .
  10. Enter the day of the month as a 2-digit number (01 - 31).
  11. Press Enter.
  12. Press .
  13. Enter the hour in 24-hour format as a 2-digit number (00 - 23).
  14. Enter the minute as a 2-digit number (00 - 59).
  15. Press Enter.
  16. Press Exit twice to exit.
